Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: September 2026
1. Program Registration & Participation
By registering for the Mariachi Repertoire meet-ups, you agree to participate in good faith and follow all meet-up guidelines, including attendance expectations, behavior standards, and instructor directives. Meet-ups run weekly from September 22 through December 15, covering boleros, rancheras, sones, huapangos, and show pieces. Weekly meet-ups are offered in two time slots — 6:30–8:00 PM and 8:30–10:00 PM — each limited to 25 participants.
2. Payment & Refund Policy
Pricing: $20 per weekly meet-up, or a $60 monthly pass covering four weeks. Payments are processed via Stripe and are non-refundable once completed. If you need to withdraw from the program, cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to mariachilosvaqueros@yahoo.com within 7 days of registration. No refunds are guaranteed after that window.
3. Sheet Music & Weekly Cycle
Sheet music for each week's song is provided at the start of the week. Participants are expected to practice the song on their own before the weekly meet-up, where it is rehearsed and polished together as a group.
4. Liability & Assumption of Risk
Mariachi Los Vaqueros and all instructors (including Hector Castro and Juan Orozco) are not liable for injuries, property damage, or personal loss occurring during participation in the program or at program-related events. By registering, you assume all risk of injury or loss.
5. Parental Consent (Minors)
Students under 18 must have written parental consent to participate. By submitting registration for a minor, the parent or guardian confirms they have reviewed and accepted these terms, the liability waiver, and all program policies.
6. Recording & Performance Rights
Instructors may record rehearsals and performances for instructional or promotional purposes. By participating, you grant Mariachi Los Vaqueros permission to use recordings in marketing, social media, or educational contexts without further compensation, unless you opt out in writing.
7. Code of Conduct
All participants must treat instructors, fellow musicians, and staff with respect. Behavior that disrupts the learning environment, violates venue policies, or poses a safety risk may result in immediate removal from the program without refund.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mariachi Los Vaqueros's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the course. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be governed by California law and resolved in Los Angeles County courts.
